Privacy Policy

Where's Worm? is operated by Worm God Empire / Bodega Express LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect on wheresworm.com and how we use it. We do not sell personal information.

Information we collect

  • Information you send us. Worm Club, Contact, and Share-your-trip (Reviews) forms collect the name, email or city, and the notes you type (trip stories may include an optional 1–5 rating for our inbox only). Those submissions are processed by Netlify Forms on our behalf.
  • On-device data. Saved itineraries, Worm Club display name, rewards points, and a random visitor id live in your browser's local storage so the site can remember stays and return visits. This data does not leave your device except as described below.
  • Usage analytics. Google Tag Manager (GTM-WVRP9VLX) may load after you interact with the page. A first-party page-view ping may also go to our /api/track endpoint (path, referrer host, and anonymous ids — no name or email).

Booking partners

Hotel, flight, and car bookings complete on Expedia. Tours and experiences may complete on GetYourGuide. When you click a partner link or load a partner widget, that company receives the data they need to run the booking — subject to their own privacy policies. We may be credited for qualifying bookings as an Expedia Creator and GetYourGuide partner.

How we use information

To run the site, respond to messages, operate Worm Club, measure traffic, and attribute affiliate bookings. We do not use your form submissions to send third-party spam.

Cookies and similar tech

Partner widgets (Expedia, GetYourGuide) and analytics may set cookies. You can block cookies in your browser; some widgets may then not load.

Retention and your choices

Clear site data in your browser to remove local Worm Club / itinerary data. To request deletion of a form submission, use the contact form or message us on the social accounts listed there.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
